Ko wai au?

 Who am I ?

I was found in America's waterways.

My kainga is in the area of freshwater environments, such as ponds, marshes, wetlands, rivers, lakes, and swamps, as well as in brackish water.

 My land in that area is the southeast United States: all of Florida and Louisiana, the southern parts of Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi, coastal South and North Carolina, East Texas, the southeast corner of Oklahoma, and the southern tip of Arkansas. Louisiana . 

My maunga is in the Rocky Mountains and my home is in America. 

I can trace my lineage back through alligatoridae, Crocodilia, reptilia and chordata to animalia. This means that I am a reptile and that I am related to all the other reptiles. Because I am a reptile, you will know that I am cold blooded and lay eggs.

 Going back further, I am also a part of the chordata phylum, which means I have a backbone and I am related to other animals like lizards and crocodiles. I am also related to all the animals that roam the Earth, but only very distantly. I am related to all the reptiles in the world, but which one am I?

Cinquain poem

this week in class we learned about a Cinquain poem and the success criteria on what it has in it.

Devotions Reflection

 We are created in God's image this means I have God-given creativity and talents.

this week we read the parable of the three servants.

The parable was about three servants, they all got given some bags of money from their master the first one got 5 bags, the next one got given 2 and the last one was given 1 bag of money then the master left.

the first servant decided to work to get more money to please his master he got 5 more bags, the second one decided the same thing and he got 2 more bags of money.

but the last servant who only got one bag agreed to himself that he would burry the money so he wouldn't lose it. and when the master came back the first two said "look I doubled the money you gave me." "good my loyal and faithful servants." said the master, but then the last one said " I buried  the money so I wouldn't lose it." the master was not pleased and said " Go Away my unfaithful, none loyal servant." 

That parable taught me that you shouldn't hide your talent even if you only have one instead you should expand it.

I can apply it to praising God and helping others.

What is Creativity??

In Class, we were learning about how people can be creative and who we think is creative and why does our world need creativity. I think game creator are really creative in how they design and code the game.

This is the limerick I wrote in class 

In class, I learned about limerick poems A limerick poem is a poem that only has five lines and is sometimes humorous And the order is AABBA. All the A rhyme and all the B rhyme. In most limericks they start with me once, there once, there was once, I once met.

My limerick…
I once met a girl from Spain                             
She loved to play in the rain                                     
but one day she was up a tree                                 
she broke her knee                                           
That clumsy girl from Spain.

I persecuted the church.

I went to Damascus to search.

Where Jesus transformed me into Paul.

I had lost my sight

All I could see was night.

I heard Jesus’s voice.

I made Him my choice.

Have you ever got stitches?

 in class, we did narrative writing we did a cold task, and now a hot task, a cold task is before you learn about it and a hot task is after you learn about it.

 One nice sunny easter day a girl named Monique was at her best friend's house/Tailah’s house for the weekend. They were getting ready for a trip to her grandmother's house for an easter hunt and a barbeque with the rest of her family. 
                                                  
Monique was sitting on Tailah’s bed playing on her phone then Tailah walked in and said “we're going,” so she turned off the phone and walked out of the room. It was when she got to the kitchen she realized she forgot her jumper, so she ran steadily back to the room and put on a light jumper. While she was walking she slipped and went crashing through a glass door and cut her hand trying to stop herself.
                                                 
Tailah’s mum walked out of her room wondering what that smashing noise was, she took one look at Monique's hand and ran her to the kitchen and grabbed paper towels and applied pressure to her wound then Tailah’s mum called her husband and he came and told Monique to sit on the couch.
                                                  
Tailah’s mum called 111 and answered all the questions the nurse asked. At the same time, Tailah’s dad was rapping Monique's hand. He told her to keep her hand up to stop the blood from rushing out too fast.
                                                   

When they got in the car and drove down to a hospital they got asked all these questions if they had COVID. A few minutes later they went in and as they were walking down the bright, scary hallway of the hospital, a nurse-led them to a room with 2 other nurses. They asked Monique to sit on this bed with a long paper towel over it. They told her to relax and they were going to put stitches in. stitches
